“It's the little things citizens do. That's what will make the difference.” — Wangari Maathai
There's never been a good option between the op shop and the landfill. Until now.
How can I get my old clothes recycled?
Be part of the solution
Recycling Club is part drop-off, part working session. Bring your worn-out, recyclable textiles and we'll recycle them for you - $6 per kilo. Or stay and get hands-on. Join us as we triage and decommission surplus clothing from the public and local op shops, learn how it all works, and take home anything that sparks an upcycling project. Our calendar lists dates, times and locations as they're confirmed.
If you would like to start a recycling club in your area, let us know if we can help.
Purchase a reusable courier bag
If you would find it more convenient to send your clothing to us, you can purchase a pre-paid courier bag made from rescued fabrics and zips. The bags can hold up to 6kg and are designed to be sent out and returned again and again. We are currently trialling a range of fabrics. You fill it and send it to us knowing every piece will be triaged for its best next use - with landfill only as a last resort for items that have no current pathway.

Need recovered materials for your projects?
Got a project on the go? Whether you're a crafter hunting for recovered fabric, buttons or zips, or a school looking for materials to get creative with, we'd love to help. Get in touch and let's see what we can find you.
Be part of something bigger
We're a group of passionate crafters and community carers who show up, muck in, and make it work. There's no fixed job description - just good people doing what they can. If that sounds like you, tell us you're interested and we'll find a fit.
Want to do something about textile waste in your community?
If you feel the pull to do something but don't know where to start, let's talk. You don't need a plan - just the drive. We'll help you figure out the rest.
