"All flourishing is mutual." - Robin Wall Kimmerer
We understand the charitable sector. We were conceived there.
The struggle is real.
Op shops are a cornerstone of sustainable clothing, getting good items into the hands of their next owner at an accessible price. But they're also overburdened. More quality donations than they can sell, huge volumes of items in poor condition, and worse.
We know the difficulty of trying to limit poor donations without discouraging good ones. We know how clothing donations have to be closed sometimes because there is just too much to manage arriving at your door. And we know the problem is worsening as new clothing gets cheaper and discarded sooner.
That's where we come in.
We can help you manage textile overload responsibly. But the bigger opportunity is shifting your position, from somewhere people offload unwanted clothing, to a destination for people who genuinely care. Those people are looking for a responsible pathway, not just somewhere to leave an unwanted problem.
Redistribute your quality surplus
We can collect your surplus quality items for free. We put them through our triage process, and if we find items suited to our online store, we'll send a share of the proceeds back to you. We'll never send a good item to landfill - if it comes to the crunch, we may repurpose or recycle it.
Recycle your end-of-life textiles
We collect your worn or unsaleable textiles and handle the full recycling process. It's labour-intensive, so there's a fair cost for this service.
Prefer to do some of the prep yourself? You can access our charity partners recycling pipeline at a much lower rate. We'll let you know exactly what's required.
Stock our charity rags
We make two types of rags, both commercially washed and available in 2kg and 10kg bags, from textiles that have reached the genuine end of the line:
- White 100% cotton tshirt rag
- Coloured cotton rag (95%+)
We supply them to your shop at our online price, so you can retail them at an appropriate retail price and keep your margin.
For your customers, it's a straightforward swap: the imported rags they'd buy anyway, made locally from rescued textiles with proceeds to charity. For you, it's another step towards becoming a destination for people who genuinely care.
Visit the shop
Not an op shop?
If your charity works directly with people in need rather than running a retail shop, we'd still love to hear from you. We regularly have clothing, linen, school uniforms and other textiles available, and we'll pass them on to you for free, as long as they reach your community the same way.
Tell us what you need and what you don't - we won't leave you holding anything you haven't said yes to. What we have varies with what comes in, so the best first step is a conversation.
